British photographer and filmmaker Alice Neale focuses on character, personality and stylistic nuance in her work, which offers a way for her to explore contemporary womanhood. When making work in the studio, she brings a unique energy to set that translates into images that are both authentic and sensual. Collaborating often with stylists Isabelle Sayer, Makram Bitar, Linda Englehardt and Eliza Conlon, Neale’s work is inspired by her deep knowledge of fashion history as well as her appreciation of classic European cinema.
Neale is a graduate of Central Saint Martins, London. She has worked with clients including Prada, Miu Miu, Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, Simone Rocha, Victoria Beckham, Rimowa, Wales Bonner, Nanushka, Gerbase and Renaissance. Her editorials are featured in D - la Repubblica, Self Service, AnOther, Re-Edition, POP, The Face, The Gentlewoman, Modern Matter, New York Times, Luncheon, A Nice Magazine and Arena Homme +.
